அண்ணாமலைப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் படித்து மின்னியலில் பட்டம் பெற்ற பொறியாளர் தமிழ்நாடு மின்சார வாரியத்தில் 23 ஆண்டுகள் பொறியாளராகப் பணியாற்றி, விருப்ப ஓய்வு பெற்றவர்.
தமிழ்மறை குடமுழுக்குகள் 1000-த்திற்கு மேலும், தமிழாகமத் திருமணங்கள் 900-க்கு மேலும் ஆற்றியுள்ளார்.
அறநிலையைத் துறை மூலமாக ஓதுவார்கள், சிவாச்சாரியார்களுக்குப் பயிற்சி அளித்துள்ளார். முப்பதுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட புத்தகங்களை எழுதியுள்ளார்.
சைவ சித்தாந்த நுண்பொருளை உணர்ந்து மக்களிடையே சொற்பொழிவாற்றும் திறனும், தெய்வ வழிபாட்டின் வரனும் உடையவர், மிகச் சரளமாகச் செந்தமிழில் சிந்தை இனிக்கப் பேசுவதில் வல்லவர்.
தமிழகத்தில் தற்போது தமது தனித்திறன் கொண்ட சொல்லாற்றலால் தமிழ்வழிபாட்டைப் பரப்பி வரும் மிகப்பெரிய சைவசித்தாந்த அறிஞர்.

Senthamizh Velvi Chadurar, Siddhanta Kavimani M.P. Sathiyavel Muruganar B.E. M.A.

Hailing from Vellore, a town in TamilNadu, Thiru M.P. Sathiyavel Muruganar is basically an engineer graduated in Annamalai University. His father M.Perumal is a freedom fighter and had written about 50 books on various branches of interest in Saivism.

Apart from the credits inherited from his father, he had the Godsent opportunity of shaping himself in association with Late Kriupananda Variyar, his relative and a great savant known all over the world.

M.P. Sathiyavel Muruganar is an accomplished speaker and a Tamil poet too. He had worked in Tamilnadu Electricity Board as Executive Engineer and voluntarily retired foregoing his service only to server the cause of Tamil Tradition and Literature. He is a great warrior par excellence in the field of promoting the cause of Tamil Worship, Culture and Saiva Siddhantha .

He is a member of the committee of High Command nominated by the Govt.of TamilNadu for review of Archakar Training Schools organised to train all those interested in serving the temples as Archkars without bar on caste. He has also rendered his services as a member of TextBook Committee in prescribing the texts for Archkars. It is noteworthy that extracts of his books are prescribed by the government as authorised texts.

One of his Yoeman Services rendered to the School of Thought of Saiva Siddhantha is a CD album rendered by him namely "Sweet Thoughts of Saiva Siddhantham". The album consists of 5 CDs comprising 15 lecturers, running for about 5 hours. He has a style and diction of his own in presentation that hearing of which is an religious ecstasy of coming to grips with logical truths of Saiva Siddhantha hidden hitherto.

He has travelled widely across the world carrying his mission and message and visited SriLanka,Malaysia,Singapore,Penang and Mauritius. He has presented papers in many international seminars. So has he appeared in many TV Programmes too both in India and aboard.
